One day, this police officer got a call from an elderly lady. She was deeply distressed due to her cat’s death. When the sixty one year old lady found out that there was something wrong with one of her cats, she panicked and dialed 911. She didn’t know what else to do.
The old lady had no family and thought that the police officers would help her.
I’m 61 years old. I don’t have any family at all, except these two cats, and I really don’t know what happened to this one.
While she was on the call with the telephone operators, the lady realized that contacting 911 was not the ideal thing to do and decided to cut the call.
But I don’t know who to call. I’m sorry. You guys don’t have to come and check on me. I’m OK.

However, the call agent of the emergency services tried their best to calm the lady down. They made sure that she was okay. The call agent tried his best to console the old lady. The woman sounded shocked and kept on saying that she had nobody else to call.
The dispatcher knew that they had to send someone to help the lady and informed her about it.
Police Officer Dylan Wright immediately responded to the call and went on to check on the poor woman.
He got to know that the old lady lived alone with her cats and there was nobody around to help her. Officer Wright headed towards the nearest department store after visiting the lady. He bought a shovel and returned to help the lady.
It was really sad that there was nobody to help the woman. The police officer felt that the old lady shouldn’t have to bury her cat all by herself. So he went on to do it for her.
Officer Wright dug a small hole in the backyard in order to bury the feline. The old lady relaxed after the cat was put to rest. All the panic and fear of the old lady disappeared immediately. The City of Rome Georgia praised Officer Wright for what he did.
